Nightshade & Nectar was born from the intersection of two worlds that have always felt deeply connected: the world of mental and behavioral health, and the ancient traditions of herbalism, folklore, and plant-based ritual.
Through my work in mental and behavioral health, I have witnessed the importance of feeling grounded, cared for, and connected to yourself. I have seen how small moments of comfort, reflection, and intentional care can become powerful parts of someone’s journey.
At the same time, I have always been drawn to the history of plants, the traditions of the apothecary, and the old-world practices that surrounded herbs, flowers, and natural remedies. The historical relationship between humans and plants has always carried a certain kind of wonder: the idea that nature can inspire, comfort, and bring us back into balance.
Nightshade & Nectar became the bridge between these passions.
